Overview

    Not so scary movie struggles to overcome bad film editing, bad sound and bad sound mixing. Decent acting, particularly the little girl playing 'Becca. Passes the time.

    In theory, bringing malevolent spirits back inside of your dead parents should be a great premise, but this fails to capitalize on it.

    Almost everything of any significance happens by mistake: the machine fails, the parents die in tragic accident, the spirits are summoned by mistake, the neighbor...

    The drama aspect isn't great, but the horror aspect sucks. I feel like I've not just seen this a lot before, but I've seen it a lot recently.

    Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible.
