Overview

Refugees from a war-torn country start showing up to seek asylum in an American town. Only the country these people are from is America and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future.     Skip everything with the sheriff's son and any and all love plots and you'll probably have a good time with this highly predictable/enjoyable (but flawed) series. These people come from a war-torn world yet have perfect health, teeth, hair and eyebrows Its silly, much like much of the plot.
