In a remote mountainous area at the end of the Ming Dynasty, several villagers secretly raided a tomb late at night and were killed by a Gu curse. Lu Wen Liang and Zhang Chi Yi noticed the strange aspects of the corpses and decided to venture into the "Village of Short Lives" to uncover the truth.
